Same Lumina. You choose where it runs.
Lumina Cloud is hosted and maintained by us. Lumina On-premise runs on your own servers. Both include the full product, so the choice comes down to your policies and how much you want to run yourself.
Lumina Cloud
We host the CMS, apply updates and keep it running. Sign in, pair a screen and start publishing the same day.
Lumina On-premise
Install Lumina on servers you control, so content and device data stay inside your network and your IT team sets the update schedule.

Questions about editions
Is the feature set the same in both editions?
Yes. Both include Layout Studio, the media library, publishing to screens and sites, Pulse and the Android player.
Do players need internet access?
Players need to reach your Lumina CMS: over the internet for Cloud, or over your own network for On-premise. If that connection drops, they keep playing from their local cache.
What do we need to run On-premise?
Requirements depend on your environment. Email sales@luminacloudos.com and we’ll send you the server, database and network requirements.
Can we start on Cloud and move to On-premise later?
Talk to us at sales@luminacloudos.com and we’ll go through the options for your setup.
Not sure which edition fits?
Tell us about your screens and your IT requirements and we’ll recommend one.
